Who won what at the Oscars 2014? Steven Price won the coveted Best Original Soundtrack Oscar for his score for Gravity, but who else won big on the night?

British composer Steven Price has won the Academy Award for Best Original Soundtrack for his score to Gravity, beating competition from John Williams, Thomas Newman, Alexandre Desplat and Win Butler with Owen Pallett.

The win comes after Price also took home the BAFTA Film Award in the same category last month. Price spoke to Classic FM in the run-up to the Oscars, commenting on the score itself: "The idea was that we wanted to take the audience up into space."

Other big winners on the night included Gravity, which took home seven Oscars in total (including Price's). Alfonso Cuaron was honoured for Best Director, while Matthew McConaughey and Cate Blanchette won Best Actor and Best Actress.
