Halle at Giggleswick

On Saturday 30th June, the playing fields of Giggleswick School in North Yorkshire will host a one-off open air picnic concert - with the world famous Halle Orchestra.

Hosted by Sir Tim Rice, and conducted by James Burton – the evening includes internationally renowned baritone Sir Thomas Allen, alongside soprano Sarah Fox, and tenor Barry Banks. They will be joined by a host of other singers including the Giggleswick Choral Society.  

This popular programme of music from film, musical theatre, and opera including Nessun dorma, Pearl Fishers’ Duet, Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves, Crown Imperial, music from ET, songs from Oklahoma, Carousel, West Side Story, Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, will culminate in a spectacular fireworks finale to Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture.  

Advance tickets cost £30 for adults, and £5 for children aged 5-15.
