Fiona Shaw’s production of Mozart’s masterpiece will begin its run on 29 March and continue until 14 April.
Mozart’s ‘The Marriage of Figaro’ is an irresistible tale of love and trickery.
Figaro and Susanna are engaged, but as their wedding day arrives it becomes clear that their master, Count Almaviva, has his eye on Susanna.
He is determined to seduce her before the young couple’s marriage can take place! Susanna and Figaro team up with the forsaken Countess to turn the tables and teach the straying Count a much-needed lesson in fidelity.
Fiona Shaw’s production of Mozart’s masterpiece returns to the London Coliseum. English National Opera’s Music Director Martyn Brabbins conducts a cast starring Rhian Lois as Susanna, Thomas Oliemans as Figaro, Lucy Crowe as the Countess and Ashley Riches as the Count.
