BAFTA Film Awards 2014: full list of nominees

Five of the best soundtracks of the past year are in the running to win the Music BAFTA 2014, as nominations were announced this morning.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts are honouring five of the best soundtracks of the past year. 12 Years a Slave, including music by Hans Zimmer, John Williams' score to The Book Thief, Henry Jackman's soundtrack to Captain Phillips, Gravity, by Steven Price, and Thomas Newman's score to Saving Mr Banks are all nominated in the Music category.

Space epic Gravity is the most nominated film, up for 11 awards, closely followed by American Hustle and 12 Years a Slave, nominated in 10 categories.

The winners will be announced at London's Royal Opera House on 16 February, hosted by Stephen Fry.
