We couldn't resist taking a look at when a few of the greatest musical minds penned works that shook the world of classical music to its core - and changed it for the better.

While Mozart had already written ten symphonies before he'd hit his teens, Richard Strauss continued to write well into his twilight years, hitting the compositional ball firmly out of the park with his ethereal Four Last Songs.
