Let’s establish something first - this will require concentration. Don’t get us wrong, we love a music theory workout as much as the next person (as long as they’re a music theory geek too), but this one is pretty tough.

Basically, theorist Michael Staff has used group theory to come up with an elaborate method of constructing chords based on the formation of a Rubik’s Cube, of which there are literally billions variations.
