‘Uptown Funk’ reimagined as a boogie-woogie virtuoso piano piece is actually incredible

This is the best, funkiest, coolest version of Bruno Mars' ‘Uptown Funk’. End of.

If you’ve never heard ‘Uptown Funk’ before, now’s the time to listen to it:

Yeah, it’s a great pop tune. But not as devastatingly dance-inducing as this boogie-woogie piano reinvention. The whole thing is mesmerising, from the funky walking bassline to the epic glissandi. But the turning point has to be at 1:35, when the pianist starts hitting the piano and stamping in time to his glissando-filled rag.
