The brand new five pound note can be used as a makeshift stylus, and people are really going for it.

Soon after the new five pound notes went into circulation, music geeks discovered that the edge of the plastic note just so happened to double up as a stylus for vinyl records.

By placing the corner of the note into the groove, you can use it as a tiny stylus and amplifier, though the results are not what you’d call ‘high fidelity’.
