Here's some virtuosic Wieniawski to blow you away - on stage at one of the world's top competitions, young violinist Christian Li is quite astonishing.

The 2018 Menuhin Competition is underway in Geneva, and the The Junior Finalists have just been announced. Chloe Chua (Singapore), Hina Khuong-Huu (United States/Japan/France), Christian Li (Australia), Ruibing Liu (China), Guido Sant’Anna (Brazil) and Clara Shen (Germany) have advanced to the final round.

All are aged between 10 and 13 and will take part in the finals at Victoria Hall in Geneva tonight.

Christian Li's Wieniawski, recorded in the semi-finals of the competition has absolutely caught our attention. He plays Polonaise de Concert in D with pianist Nicola Eimer. Incredible technique and musicianship from the 10-year-old from Melbourne.

Once you've finished marvelling at Christian's talents, take a look at another finalist, 11-year-old Chloe Chua from Singapore, accompanied by Saya Hashino.
