Xavi Lozano can turn just about anything into a wind instrument. For him, music really is everywhere.

Let us introduce you to Xavi Lozano, the Catalan musician specialising in ethnic flutes and wind instruments. So far so middle-of-the-road, but he's also made a name for himself by playing instruments made out of some surprising materials.

According to him, everything contains music. Take some construction hoarding, for example: add a few finger holes, and Xavi can turn it into a rather beautiful sounding flute.

It seems this guy can turn anything into a wind instrument. Kids' bikes, household brooms, step ladders, bricks, industrial hosing. You name it, he can play it as a flute.

Here he is in concert, erring on the side of the slightly more conventional.
