Celebrate the 25th anniversary of the unique period-instrument orchestra with a concert at the Barbican.

2014/15 marks the 25th anniversary of Sir John Eliot Gardiner’s period-instrument Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique.

For this celebratory concert the orchestra brings its distinctive brisk energy and genuinely thrilling sound to two favourite Beethoven orchestral pieces and Berlioz’s cantatas for soprano and orchestra. They are joined, for one concert only, by soprano Anna Caterina Antonacci.
