John Tavener: a Celebration with The Bach Choir and Philharmonia Orchestra

Join The Bach Choir and Philharmonia Orchestra at London's Royal Festival Hall on Tuesday 25 November for a celebration of the life and music of Sir John Tavener, who would have been 70 this year.
You will hear two of Tavener’s most popular works – Song for Athene, sung at the funeral of Diana, Princes of Wales, and The Protecting Veil, with international cellist Raphael Wallfisch. In the second half, exciting young soprano Elin Manahan Thomas joins The Bach Choir in Tavener's beautiful Requiem.

The Royal Festival Hall charges £1.75 as a booking fee per ticket in addition. The Offer is available from 22 September to 25 November and there are no restrictions of number of tickets bought.
