The Darley Park Concert 2012

Classic FM has teamed up with Derby LIVE for the Darley Park Concert 2012, one of the UK’s largest free outdoor classical concerts.

The annual Darley Park Concert takes place this year on Saturday 30th June in a superb setting, with fabulous music and fantastic fireworks in the company of the region’s only professional orchestra, sinfonia ViVA.

This year, conductor James Holmes and sinfonia ViVA will be joined by the sensational vocalist Mary Carewe, whose versatility ranges from musical theatre and cabaret songs to contemporary music.

Presented by Classic FM’s very own John Suchet, come along and be part of the 30,000-strong crowd in the stunning natural amphitheatre that is Darley Park. Entry to the concert is free.

Please observe parking restrictions. Car Parking £5 at St. Benedict's School on Duffield Road & Derby Rugby Club.

In the interests of safety, please do not bring barbecues, sparklers, fireworks, Chinese lanterns, animals or gazebos to the park. Do bring a torch. Please help to keep the park tidy by disposing of your rubbish carefully.
