Did you miss our broadcast of the amazing Classic FM Live from the Wales Millennium Centre on 10th February 2014? Listen again here!
Classic FM Live returned to the Wales Millennium Centre, for a night of classical favourites featuring a host of A-list performers. Classic FM's Sunday morning presenter Aled Jones was compere for the night, introducing a programme of music that included the world-famous clarinettist Emma Johnson playing Mozart's sublime Clarinet Concerto.
We were joinedby all sorts of special guests to celebrate the 70th birthday of Wales's most popular composer, Karl Jenkins, including cellist Julian Lloyd-Webber, tenor Wynne Evans and harpist Catrin Finch. What's more, Karl himself joined us to conduct many of his best–loved pieces, with Adiemus, Palladio and The Armed Man all featuring during the course of this unforgettable evening.
Prepare to be amazed by some of the world's best classical talent, all performing alongside the brilliant Orchestra of Welsh National Opera.
