The British Military Tournament

Celebrating the life and times of Her Majesty The Queen, this year’s tournament will be attended by royal special guests, including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. And there's commentary from Anthony Andrews, Robert Lindsay, Penelope Keith and Dan Snow.

The British Military Tournament is an unforgettable and breathtaking opportunity to marvel at the skill and precision of the British Armed Forces. Bringing together the best elements from the world-famous Royal Tournament into a dazzling 21st century arena production, this unmissable show is one of the most unique displays of military theatre anywhere in the world.

The Tournament exists to raise much-needed funds to support the brave men and women of our Armed Forces, as well as their families. By attending you are helping the three national charities of the British Armed Forces – The Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity, ABF The Soldiers’ Charity and The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund. They work together to be there for each and every member of our military family.

To mark the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of 2012, this year’s British Military Tournament will celebrate the life and times of Her Majesty The Queen. Featuring all three Armed Forces of the Crown and a host of celebrity contributors, the show will start with the events of 1926 (the year of The Queen’s birth) and will tell the story of the ensuing years up to and including the current engagement in Afghanistan.

The Tournament, on the 8th and 9th of December at Earl's Court, features more than 600 participants, over 150 horses and the legendary Field Gun Run.
