#ValentinaBristol at the Bristol Proms

Valentina Lisitsa will bring a completely interactive concert to The Bristol Proms this year, where attendees are free to film, tweet, Instagram, and even play the piano themselves - all covered right here on ClassicFM.com.

Imagine being able to wander around the concert hall, sit where you like, get your phone out and video what's going on on-stage. At #ValentinaBristol, you can - she's positively encouraging you to do so. Oh, and the results will be collated on this very page, ClassicFM.com/ValentinaBristol, and projected on-screen throughout the show.

#ValentinaBristol is the first concert of its kind - Lisitsa and Bristol Old Vic creative director Tom Morris put their heads together and came up with a vision for a completely informal show where anyone can celebrate and share their love of making music.

Here's how you can get involved:

  • VOTE: pick your favourite from the list below and Valentina will play the winner on the night.
  • Take pictures and videos, Tweet, Instagram, post them with the #ValentinaBristol hashtag and see them projected on screen during the concert.
  • If you're a budding pianist yourself, you can play during the interval! If you want to be considered, all you have to do is Tweet or Instagram a video of yourself playing the piano before the concert, again with the hashtag #ValentinaBristol.
  • There will be seats on the stage so you can get a closer look at what Valentina is doing.

Don't miss this opportunity to be fully involved in this completely unique concert - Valentina Lisitsa's Music Party needs your input!

Voting update:

An hour to go, it's all Chopin, Nyman and Beethoven - get in quick and make sure you have your say!
