A Rainbow in Curved Air, with Danceroom Spectroscopy

Making their return to the Bristol Old Vic, Charles Hazlewood's All Stars will take on Terry Riley's A Rainbow in Curved Air, a masterpiece of modern composition.

Joining them will be the pioneering visual works of Danceroom Spectroscopy, who were behind last year's Bristol Proms show with Nicola Benedetti. And if last year's show is anything to go by, then this should be something rather special.

Charles Hazlewood is a pioneering conductor who founded his All Stars in 2008 especially for the Glastonbury festival. The revolving line-up (which has in the past included fellow Bristol Proms performer Will Gregory) is chiefly concerned with improvisation.
