Discover more from Max Bruch

Bruch’s First Violin Concerto is a former No.1 in our FM Hall of Fame, and it remains a firm favourite on Classic FM.

This new CD gives us the opportunity to hear Bruch ’s other - relatively unknown - concertos for the instrument.

The second is dedicated to the virtuoso Pablo Sarasate and the third, from 1891, has an heroic solo from Maxim Fedetov. Both of which are lyrical and full of beautiful melodies.

Violinist Maxim Fedetov is joined by the Russian Philharmonic Orchestra under Dmitry Yablonsky .
