One musician has set out to prove that Bach’s music is so wonderful it crosses genres, generations – and even instruments. This is completely brilliant.
YouTuber Zachary Rizer just uploaded this beautifully atmospheric version of the Prelude from Bach’s Cello Suite No.2.
But it’s not played on cello – instead, Zachary performs the piece on a six-string electric bass guitar.
And you know what? It completely works. Close your eyes, take 3 minutes out of your day and just enjoy this velvety reinterpretation of one of the greatest Baroque pieces ever written.
