CD of the week: Partners In Time - Tasmin Little & John Lenehan
February featured different tracks from 'Partners in Time' by Tasmin Little and John Lenehan.
Last year, the internationally renowned violinist Tasmin Little was awarded the prestigious Classic FM Gramophone Award for Audience Innovation, in recognition of the overwhelming success of her project The Naked Violin - the world's first free classical CD download.
On this new recording, Tasmin teams up with fellow Classic FM favourite John Lenehan for a recital CD called Partners in Time, exploring the way in which composers throughout history have written for the combination of violin and piano.
Composers featured include Kreisler, Bach, Mozart, Bartok and Tchaikovsky. The disc was released on 2nd March.
