Warner Classics sign the vocal group and ready their new album, Silent Noon.
Ten years on from being discovered busking at London’s Covent Garden, OperaBabes have announced they’ve signed a brand new record deal with Warner Classics.
Having already forged a glittering career that’s included selling 1.5 million records and performing at some of the world’s biggest venues, Rebecca Knight and Karen England will now embark on the next phase of their career with a new record label.
“We are so happy to be signed to Warner, one of the world’s best record labels”, said Rebecca. “We can’t wait to showcase our new collection of songs to our wonderful fans, who have been patiently waiting for us to release a new album.”
The new album, Silent Noon, will be released later this year and feature a collection of piano-accompanied songs.
Head of Warner Classics John Kelleher added, “Karen and Rebecca are enormously talented and we are extremely proud of the album they have recorded for the label, which will herald the start of our new relationship with them.”
