The classical singer was forced to cancel her two UK headline performances in Ipswich and London after falling ill on Monday.

Laura Wright has been forced to pull out of her first ever UK headline shows. She would have been performing this evening in Ipswich Corn Exchange and again at London's St James Church tomorrow.

She said on Twitter: "Thank you for all the lovely messages, so sad to have to postpone my concerts. I hope you'll come along in the Spring."

Laura has had busy year touring with Alfie Boe, and singing for royalty at the Jubilee. She'll be performing next week as part of the iTunes festival.

Tickets for the concerts will still be valid when they are rescheduled, hopefully in Spring 2013. We wish Laura a speedy recovery.
