Laura Wright at Classic FM Live

Classic FM's Tim Lihoreau has been speaking to all the stars at Classic FM Live ahead of their performances tonight. Here he talks to soprano Laura Wright.

In 2011 Laura become one of the UK’s biggest-selling classical artists and the first female singer since Katherine Jenkins to reach Number One in the Classical Chart with her debut album 'The Last Rose'.

2012 is already shaping up to be another busy year for Laura. She's just completed a successful UK tour with acclaimed tenor Alfie Boe and has had the honour of becoming the first soprano to perform live at the Olympic Stadium.

She has a new album in the pipeline too. 'Glorious', which celebrates and commemorates The Queen's Diamond Jubilee, will be released on 21 May, featuring a unique collection of great British songs, old and new including 'White Cliffs of Dover', 'I Vow to Thee, My Country' and 'Land of Hope And Glory'.

Laura spoke to Tim Lihoreau just before performing 'White Cliffs of Dover' and 'I Vow to Thee, My Country' live on stage at the Royal Albert Hall.
