Lang Lang to play Latitude Festival

Superstar pianist Lang Lang will play his first ever outdoor festival at Latitude this summer.

The Chinese-born concert pianist will appear alongside headliners Paul Weller, Elbow and Bon Iver at the Suffolk-based festival in July.

Latitude is well-known for its eclectic line-up and this year is no exception, with popular acts such as Laura Marling, Wild Beasts and Richard Hawley sharing the stage with comedians, broadcasters and literary figures including Iain Banks, Alan Moore and Benjamin Zephaniah.

Melvin Benn, the founder of the festival, said: "This year's line-up will once again see Latitude present a bill of sensational artists at the peak of their careers.

"Superstar pianist Lang Lang is one of the world's biggest live and recording artists, and we're delighted to welcome him to his first ever outdoor festival."

Latitude takes place between 12-15th July at Southwold, Suffolk.
