Katherine Jenkins showcases some of the most beautiful operatic pieces, sung by some of the world’s most brilliant voices.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart not only mastered the serious side of opera, but also the comic style and even the German singspiel – a kind of folk theatre where spoken drama is interspersed with songs. Sometimes he mixed them all up - so one opera can have magical heroes, nasty villains and comic relief all at the same time. 'Mozart was an absolute genius,' says Katherine. 'I think this beautiful trio sounds like this music seems to have drifted straight out of heaven and through Mozart’s pen.'
