Katherine Jenkins switches on the sound of Christmas on Classic FM

Katherine Jenkins turned on the sound of Christmas on Classic FM this afternoon on Jamie Crick's request show, playing the first carol of the season: O Come, O Come, Emmanuel from her latest album, This is Christmas. She'll be presenting a special show, Christmas at Katherine's, on 16 December.

"I love Christmas," she said. "Most of my Christmas memories are musically related."

From the first day of Advent, Saturday 1 December, until the end of the month, Classic FM is the home of Christmas music, playing the best carols and festive pieces. On Christmas Day itself, Jamie Crick will be hosting a special festive Requests show.
