In an attempt to capture the magic of the movies, we caught up with conductor John Wilson in the next best thing to a cinema: the Classic FM theatre.

Oh, What A Beautiful Mornin', I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair, You'll Never Walk Alone - the John Wilson Orchestra are celebrating the best of Rodgers & Hammerstein's musicals on their latest album. We caught up with their conductor, John Wilson.

After performing some of these much-loved songs in concert, John and his orchestra decided to record the repertoire, marking the first re-recording of many of these scores since the original soundtracks were recorded.

He shared the inspiration behind this album and shed some light on how he achieves his orchestra's signature sound - without even talking!
