Andrea Bocelli makes history at O2

Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli sold out his concert at the O2 in London on Friday, making it the most attended show in the venue's history.

The O2 Arena has revealed that the Italian tenor performed to 16,500 fans at the first of his two UK performances this month. This is the largest audience ever at the O2 Arena, the world's most popular music venue.

Andrea Bocelli has just started a world tour, which will see him perform in Manchester at the MEN Arena on 26 November, and then travel to the US and Germany, including a performance at Madison Square Gardens in New York.
